If you are anything like me, you have lost your keys at least once, or if you are REALLY like me, you have lost your keys countless times.

2011 was an amazing year for me. It was a time in my life where I felt the most free and brave I have ever felt in my life. God talked to me a lot, and I heard Him so clearly. He told me many things that were going to happen in the future, and throughout my lifetime. Don't get me wrong...I have walked and talked and listened to God my Father for nearly 50 years, but during this time period, I heard and saw things so clearly, but falsely assumed that what He told me was going to happen very soon.
It is now the year 2018, and many of the tings that God either told me directly, or indirecly, THEN, He is bringing into fruition NOW. In 2011 God clearly told me, "Dan, I am giving you the KEYS to the KINGDOM. of HEAVEN Just ensure you NEVER lose your keys, knowing in the natural that I had a very bad habit of losing my keys.

I am writing this blog post on a borrowed computer of my neighbor, sitting in his home, because, once AGAIN, I have locked myself out of my apartment, because I forgot my KEYS inside of my apartment. Even though this is not a good thing, this circumstance has reminded me (AGAIN), that His PROMISES are TRUE and AMEN, and His mercies are everlasting, and without restraint. Thank you God that YOU are not finished with me yet!

Why and How You Should Vote

You have probably heard, or even said, yourself, "Why should I vote if my vote alone, does not really count". I, myself, have not voted for this exact reason, and I DO believe Trump when he says, "The system IS rigged...Believe you me!!!" I, nor anybody I have talked to really...completely understands the electoral system or how it works, nor do they, or I understand who actually casts these electoral votes.

The ONE question we HAVE to ask ourselves, is NOT who do we want to be the next President of the United States of America, but who, best represents, and stands up for our core beliefs and values AND which presidential candidate will base their appointment of the next, possibly 3 Supreme Court Justice's.

Furthermore, these 3 justices MUST be considered based on their views and opinions of the FIRST AMENDMENT (Freedom of Speech), SECOND AMENDMENT (RIGHT to BEAR ARMS), and when life begins (at conception, or sometimes as much as 9 months down the road when considering partial birth abortions), which DOES happen, no matter which side of the fence you may find yourself on.

So get out and cast your ballot for the ONE who you believe best REPRESENTS YOU. Early voting is available and began this past Monday. The regular election date is November 8th. I AM voting this year either today or Friday, and either in Irving or Dallas, TX. Make YOUR voice heard, because if enough of us UNITE, we CAN make a difference, and make America even GREATER, again!

How could a dad who JUST learned to be a father and who failed at a 20 year marriage possibly give sound advice on love, let alone relationships? Quite possibly, it was in those failures, he succeeded in finally listening to the truth, and began mending his ways. Thomas Eddison, in discussing his invention of the lightbulb said it this way, "I haven't failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

Over the last 5 years I have discovered 3 things that I believe are crucial in beginning AND maintaining ANY relationship, and paricularly potentially romantic ones. I am sure there are more, but these 3 are, in my mind, the most important.

1. Begin ANY relationship as a FRIEND and treat him/her as you should a brother or sister.

I stress the SHOULD in a brother/sister relationship because many of us treat our own brothers and sisters worse than we treat anyone else. But in a healthy and natural brother/sister relationship we protect, honor, respect and serve eachother, with the outcome often resulting in being eachother's best friend. Personally, I failed too at being a good brother to my sister and step sister so have had to learn this later in life as well. But I have seen a healthy sibling relationship work...and work well. Communication, Trust Worthiness and Mutual Respect are fundamental keys to becoming Best Friends in both a natural and "like" brother and sister relationship. If you are not communicating effectively, creating a BASIS of trust or disrespecting eachother there is little chance of having a healthy brother/sister relationship and much less of a chance in becoming BEST FRIENDS.

If you will focus on ALWAYS treating eachother like a brother, sister and best friend, should the relationship turn romantic, many of the pitfalls of "romantic turned south" relationships can be avoided altogeter or at least be significantly diminished. Don't be so focused on "taking it to the next level" as you are in building a lasting, healthy and strong FRIENDSHIP. Should the friendship progress to a mutually agreed upon romantic level, break ups, fights and divorces, I am convinced, will occur much less frequentally, if at all. How we talk to, treat and inneract with eachother play a huge role in building mutual respect, trust and strong, healthy and lasting friendships.

2. Do not be overly concerned with whether or not he or she is "the one".

I personally believe there are currently two or three women in my life that quite possibly could be "the one" and God would be happy with whichever one I ultimately choose. To clarify, I am not yet dating any one of them, but these are all women I highly respect, treat as my closest sisters and who have a mutual respect of me, what I value and what and who I believe in. Sometimes we get so caught up in chasing the "pretty butterfly" we completely lose focus on everything else, including our well grounded relationships, what and who we REALLY value and even the fundamental things we need to survive...rest and aleep, eating and even some personal hygene, particularly when the "butterfly" suddenly chooses a different path or "lover".

Pastor Earl of Shoreline-Dallas Church says it this way, "Our purpose is not simply a box we check off. It is a path." Like it or not, finding an adequate, but not perfect, helpmate can be an extremely integral part of, but not the definition of, our purpose. It is our core values, beliefs and who we are that defines us. When remaining single is not desired and finding a helpmate through a romantic relationship is what we want, we must relize it is US that defines US and not somebody else. Yes, that person utimately plays a huge role in supporting and helping us realize and accomplish our life purpose, but is not even part of the definition of such. When we are content and confident in who we are and what we are destined to be, "the one" will naturally be alligned with our core values, beliefs, and desires. "Butterflies" that have no connection of, realization of, or care to know who we are, are nothing more than a distraction that should be avoided at all costs. But all too often we see the outward or percieved beauty of the "butterfly" thinking we can somehow save them or "make them see the light" but fail to realize that they are flighty, ungrounded, have no real interest in you or changing thier ways for you or anyone else, and are a huge distraction that causes you to lose focus on who you are, and what your true purpose is. When our identity and purpose is completely wrapped around and based on what he or she says or thinks about us, and then that individual dumps us or we realize too late that we have been duped, we often become hopeless, disallusicall and purposeless.

Your purpose or "calling" should not be connected to a specific person, job title, role or something temporal or subject to change. Those things are put on your "path" to support, allign with and uplift, but do not define you or your purpose.

3. When relationships are ending or failing, do not not put the "guilty" party on blast.

I can't accurately tell you how many times I have thought a girl was pretty hot and awesome...until they aired thier many grievances about a specific person on facebook or twitter, but it is ALOT! I find myself not only wondering what in the world I ever saw in her, but thinking, "Wow! If she can't handle something as trifle as a lover's spat, how will she ever hold up when the real storms of life come smashing and crashing into her small, and shallow world? Girls...and guys, when you do stuff like this, not only are you alienating the target of your pure hatred, you are alienating yourself and any person that ever dreamed of being close to you. If somebody you thought was special ends up being something or someone you never thought was humanly possible, simply be the bigger person and let them go. If you choose to try and tell them why you no longer are interested in pursuing a relationship with them, go to them privately and calmly explain, in as few words as possible, why you have ultimately decided to part ways. If you need to wait a few hours or even a few days for your emotions to come into check, that is perfectly ok, and even advisable.

While we are on the subject of social media posts, and particularly "blasts", negativity, particularly consistent and persistent negativity is widely percieved as annoying, irritating, negative (imagine that) and undesirable. As Thumper the Rabbit said in "Bambi", "If you ain't got nutt'in good to say, don't say nutt'in at all!" I cannot stress this point enough! Ladies, particularly, if you only knew how undesirable and unballenced you sound when you go on these rants, I think you would at least think twice before spewing your hateful negativity. In the context of human relationships, it is a false perception that it is a good and heathy thing for opposites to attract. The opposite of this misconception is actually true. My good friend Erika Laxis calls it the Law of Attraction. When you emulate positivity, you attract positivity. Like emulates Like, for Better or For Worse...Till Death Do Us Part.
“Ok, tell me more about your daily situation there. What is it like? What are you encountering?” I asked.

He paused. I am confident there was much on which he could make comment that could never be covered over a brief breakfast. “Well. The human needs crisis in Angola is just endless – it’s enormous. There is a lot of preventable disease. You find just a general lack of knowledge regarding personal health care. Hunger is rampant; these are a largely impoverished and forgotten people.” He described the tragedy of newborn death rates, his role in directly promoting maternal health, and the work that the hospital does to prevent lifestyle related diseases.

It was immediately apparent that Dr. Comninellis is not a drop-in “voluntourist” – a person who vacations in varying locations while fitting in infrequent volunteer work simultaneously. It has been growing in popularity in recent years. On the contrary, Dr. Comninellis has worked tirelessly over decades to build lasting partnerships and establish a healthcare presence in the region. It was in 1988 when Nicholas accepted a position in Angola, with the International Mission Board, SBC.

When I asked about times in which he has performed surgeries for which there was an inadequate supply of tools or technology, he tried not to laugh and said “Every time. Every day.It is part of the draw for me.” I really could not imagine. “You enjoy being without modern medical supplies?” I asked. “Well no; it is more along the lines of being without the automation, the high-tech tools, I am in a place where I’ve got to do it all – all the guesswork, the manual calculations, it’s intense. It’s very rewarding.”

Dr. Comninellis has a lengthy history of working in emerging countries, with refugees, and in war-ridden and impoverished areas. “Have you ever been in immediate danger?” I asked. “Well. Typically, most of the people in the area tend to be thankful for the work. I would say, on average, I am left alone. But there has been a few occasions of danger; it is very dangerous at night. Gun shots and violence, all kinds of conflict happens at night. We see some of the aftermath at the hospital during the day.”

“Are these domestic conflicts? What is happening?” I asked.

“There are soldiers. There is still immense civil conflict; military conflict. The fighting happens at night.” With difficulty, Nicholas talked about being rescued in the nick of time via helicopter before the surrounding area was invaded and occupied and hundreds killed. “Another time I felt very worried was in the middle of the night there was banging on the front door of my residence there. It was soldiers and a government official. I had treated a young boy who became well and who, unbeknownst to me, was a relative of the official now standing at my door.”

“So what did they want?” It was hard for me to visualize this situation.
“They were there to let me know I had their protection.”
“What keeps you going back? Why do you put yourself in harms way throughout the year, when you could just stay in Kansas City?”

“Along with my faith and desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus, I have a passion to leave a legacy. I want to make a long lasting impact on a community – an impact that lasts long after I’m gone. I want to leave a legacy.”

Claire didn’t see it, but when I got to the edge and there was no mountain left to climb and I could see the whole world in front of me, tears were unexpectedly filling up my eyes. Coming over the last switchback and up and over the last tree, the wind hit me in the face and blew my hair all around and there I was above it all with the warm sun and the cold wind and the limitless view of the earth.

For a second, I could see my whole life in these small consecutive bits and pieces up to that point and I stood there, mainly grateful, and partially in awe at the small power within me that was enough to bring me there that day – not just up the mountain, but to the present point in my curious little life.

I stood there with Claire and was biting my lip trying to stop crying as she was taking pictures of me. The whole way, I’d definitely been the slow one coming up the vertical switchbacks with my small shin injury.

She stood there at the top of each section saying “You got it, you got it, you’re fine.” And I’d say “I know, you don’t have to do that.” And I’d laugh because that’s what she’s always done for 30 years straight. “You got it, Emily. You’re fine!”

It was silent and not another person was in sight.

I’m not sure why it was at this point of the trip that everything got to me, but it did. There were four steps left…three…two…one – and the wind picked up and all at once miles and miles of the most glorious earth came into view just as the sun broke out from the clouds it stopped me from breathing for a second. I said out loud “Oh my god, I’m here. It’s me. It’s me and I’ve made it.”

I thought of the years of my life. Five. Seventeen. Twenty-nine.

Turning thirty had kind of made me nervous at first but standing there with prehistoric seabed turned mountain ranges and ancient glaciers and 200 year old cottonwoods and pines made me feel small and so brand new to the world.

For a while everything was still.

I was still…and wild and young. I sensed the shortness of life and how fast it goes by in this world. I thought about the time I’d spent out in it and the life I’ve made for myself. I felt the cadence of my rested and clear conscience.

Right there I knew, that all my efforts were my own. All of my limits were still unknown. I felt my heart; that same heart that I’ve always had with the most quiet golden sound that always rings so true and clear, beating like it was welcoming me to that place as though it had been there before.

I stood there steady and straight and I knew I’d won over everything that ever came my way. I felt like I had the sun in my DNA because I’ve risen with the mornings after the darkest nights and from the wildest dreams.

The gleaming rays of light rested on me like they knew me and I felt in my soul the arrival of what to me is the most elusive of feelings: Home.

I felt like I was facing myself and experiencing my experiences and recognizing young dreams and long passed memories and their changes over the years, like they were old friends.

I saw endless valley and sparkling water and clouds at my fingertips and the ranges stretching on beyond us. I saw myself as I was and I was deeply content with it. I saw the years go by like photographs in my mind and I felt everything.

I thought of me. I thought of Claire. I thought of all we had been through together in 30 years that no one else will ever know.

A part of me recognized something about the wild there in a way I really didn’t expect. I felt blessed by the universe to be there with Claire. Something about the climbing and effort felt familiar and I realized that in a way, it was not a new experience for us, even though we were seeing everything there for the first time. It had a way of resembling life.

Through the rocks and sliding avalanche areas, over the thick mud and sideways pouring rain, in the cold and damp and unmarked trails, against advice and through the nights – we made it. Feeling small and powerless and finding out we were stronger than we knew and could do anything we wanted – we made it. When people doubted us or criticized us or tried to hold us back and keep us down – we made it. And we were standing there together.

It was here after a very long time of tirelessly blazing on that we rested and realized just how far we had actually come. I took a deep breath and stood there for a long time.

I noticed Claire next to me after a while. I put my arm around her. We don’t normally hug or anything. I said “Hey we did it.” And she kind of looked at me and saw my face and looked away and said “Ya. We did it. We made it.” She smiled. We were quiet.

And I had a feeling that neither of us were really talking about the mountain climb.

-Written after a month long trip celebrating my 30th birthday with my twin Claire who is my divine strength and forever friend. Happy Birthday to us; here’s to more. xo
It has now been 12 days since I met "Elle #1", ran The Elle Story on Facebook and my blog, and began, with two others that stay with me at The Salvation Army, to give away bottled water in Dallas, TX.

To date, 18 cases, or 432 waters have been given away to the Homeless, Hurting and THIRSTY in MY city, and $21 has been raised to give entirely to The Salvation Army, Carr's Center (Dallas, TX).

On, or about July 29 144 waters were handed out in less than about 15 minutes throughout Parkland Memorial Hospital through the resources (food stamps), giftings and obedience of just THREE men, including myself. To fully understand this beautiful story of Grace and Love, please be sure to read THE ELLE STORY at:

www.dance4ONE.blogspot.com. OR Facebook (Dan Getz OR Dance4INE Group or Page).

Elle Grace McClellan, or "Elle #2 was born less than a year ago, and came into the lives of Pastors Earl and Amica quite unexpectedly. They already had two children of their own, and were not looking to adopt. Pastor Earl, clearly African American, often jokingly remarks that he is actually white, and his black skin color is only an illusion. So the fact that Baby Elle was Hispanic had no bearing whatsoever on their decision to accept Ellle as their own. She needed a home, caring parents and a family to care for her, so they gladly stepped forward, and said in unison, "Elle, YOU are OURS. We want you; We love you; and We are happy to allow you to assume our name and be one of the McClellans."

I got to "meet" "Elle #1" for the first time about 3 weeks ago. She is absolutely full of LIFE, and precious beyond words. Yesterday I recievef a "double" blessing in getting to "meet" the second Elle I now know. I cannot wait to see what tremendous things the Lord has in store for these two Elles as they learn to walk out their faith and WE begin to see the "rest of the story" unfold within this"bleep" ...in the midst of eternity... and what God graciously calls TIME.

The Ellie Story
By Dan Getz

Those of you who know about Microsoft have heard of Bill Gates. But, perhaps a lesser known man well known for Microsoft's giant success was Robert Bach.

Robert Bach once said. "What the caterpillar views as the end of the world, the Master calls a Butterfly.". Patience is a virtue that produces endurance, more often than not, through significant adversity, obstacles and intense pain.

I met Ellie's mom about 3 years ago, and two years before Ellie's conception. We met while waiting for a train in the West End. We talked about God, both of the churches we went to, and her testimony of walking out of addiction. At some point in the conversation, she asked me where I lived. I told her that, truthfully, I was staying at the Salvation Army, after losing nearly everything: my wife due to divorce; my 3 beautiful children, through severe alienation tactics; my job, a very lucrative position and long-standing position as a Sr. Financial Analyst, due primarily to company politics; and my health through massive blood clots in both of my legs, a blood clot on my lung, heart surgury, a very deadly staph infection in my knee, and a myriad of other issues that nearly killed me at least 4 times.

As we were about to part ways, she told me she wanted me to meet her sister, who worked at Baylor. When she came out, she admitted that she had gone to her sister to ask for enough money to give me $10 and a starbucks, because she had recently lost a job, and was fighting to keep from losing everything herself. She also gave me a homemade Valentine heart (it was summertime) that said, "Jesus Loves You.". We then exchanged Facebook contact information, promised to go to church together (which we did right away) and have remained friends on Facebook throughout the past 3 years.

Well, this past Sunday, I not only got to see and hug Tanna at church after not seeing each other face to face during this entire time, I got to meet ELLIE, who will be ONE in September!

Well, the story gets even better! I had always wanted to somehow "pay" Tanna forward, and when someone donated not only a really nice combination bike cart/stroller they found for a steal at The Salvation Army Thrift Store, but a nearly new bike as well, it become VERY apparent the depth of God's ABUNDANT LOVE, GRACE and MERCIES He chooses to extend to each and every one of us every day!

After using "Ellie's Cart" yesterday to hold and distribute 6 cases of water (144 bottles) to the homeless, medical staff, and visitors in about 30 minutes, it became VERY APPARENT that not only could Ellie's Cart save 1000's of LIVES from dehydration and heat stroke in the month before she receives her cart for her birthday, we could duplicate this model 1000's of times and worldwide!!!!

Change a Life, change your City. Change a City, change your State. Change a State, change your Nation, and MY FRIENDS, You and We, TOGETHER, have changed the WORLD!!!

If you would like to contribute financially or physically as a volunteer for these "Water Drops" you may PayPal danieljgetz@Gmail.com. 25% to 100% of ALL proceeds will be contributed to Charitable Organizations like The Salvation Army, Wounded Warriors, Save The Children, The Cambodia Project, S.O.U.L. CHURCH and Worldwide NGO's that already have "troops on the ground" helping those who have no, or have lost a voice of their own.

By Dan Getz
Dallas, TX

On July 5, 2015, a 22 year old man's life changed in a split second...and forever. Alone in a field, with a few firecrackers left over from the previous day's celebration of his country's freeddom, he decided to light one in particular, and call it a night. Unbeknownst to him, the Chinese Made firework was DEFECTIVE, and blew up in hand and completely severed 3 of fingers, one which was able to be reattached by doctors, leaving him only two fingers and his thumb.

After hearing Cody's screams of sheer agony and pain, friends were able to help him walk somewhere between a 1/2 mile and 1 mile to a location, where careflight met him and took him to Parkland Memorial Hospital. The flight alone cost $50,000, and his medical bills to date are around $750.000.

Doctors, in order to save his hand, have, through breahthrough technology, temporarily attached his hand to a main aftery in his stomach (like the man in China where doctors have attached a man's hand to his ankle).

Today, probably sometime this morning, and after 5 previous surgurys, doctors will be surgically removing his hand from his stomach in preparation for one or more skin grapghs. The risks of death are considerable.

Cody has one word for kids, and adults alike. "LISTEN. LISTEN to your parents, Listen to authorities. LISTEN to your teachers. Do Not play with fireworks because you never know which one could cost you your life!"

Cody's outlook on life is optimistic. He considers himself lucky to be alive. He knows he has a Destiny and a purpose for something great. Pray for Cody today as you work, play and breathe. Pray as you take pufposeFULL steps . Be THANKFUL and stay ALIVE. Cody is, as so should we!

And that is exactly what Language and Memorization, Numbers and Rythym do. Think about it. 1,2,3...A,B,C and my all time favorite as a Dancer and Artist, Bippity, Boopity, Bop (or whatever you choose to identify rythym with).

My good friend Tamy Kling who I met several years ago at a homeless outreach has "mentored" me indirectly for at least two years through her webstite, facebook posts and writing style. Too many or too few produce the same result: Confusion, and often Misinformation and Rumors.

This is primarily because we live in a world of information overflow, misinformation, and the fact that we have become a microwave and spoonfed society. We want it fast and handed to us on a silver platter. And people are often too lazy to read it for themselves, "read" or "listen" to things too quickly or don't bother to fact-check things before they, for example, tweet or post that information through social media, or other outlets.

Tammy Kling also happens to be a self published author of 29 and counting books, a world traveler, and mentor/coach for executives all over the world. She also juggles work with all the responsibilities that come along with being a single mom. And she is a GOOD one.

Google Tammy Kling Adventure Girl and you will find out more about Tammy through her blog and website. While you are at it, Google Dance4One or Dan Getz. I could give you websites, email addresses and LOTS of other basically useless information, but I chalenge you to Keep It Simple, STUPID, with all due respect:-)

This article was actually written about a week ago with regard to a LIVE INTERVIEW between former President Jimmy Carter and David Letterman on the David Letterman Show.

I had the privilege tonight of watching and listening to the interview of former United States of America's President, Jimmy Carter by David Letterman.

Many times, the greatest men with the greatest minds are not recognized as such until after their death. Fortunately tonight, the World was able to join the United States of America in hearing and seeing such a man, while he is still very much ALIVE and not during a eulogy at his funeral some day.

As discussed during their conversation, Jimmy Carter is one of 38 living family members; is 93 years old; has 21 grandchildren (including 12 grandchildren and 9 GREAT grandchildren, one of which is ahead in the polls for becoming the next Governor of Georgia).

Similar to Russia's current invasion of The Ukraine, over the Christmas Weekend of 1979 Russia attempted to invade Afghanistan. According to Mr. Carter, and while he was in office, economic sanctions implemented by the United States were very effective in causing Russian leadership to change their minds and position, and ultimately withdraw their troops from Afganistan. Regardless of sanctions or the declared position of the United States and G-7 committee, it is Jimmy Carter's opinion that the invasion of Crimea (part of the Ukraine) was inevitable, and should Putin choose to stop there and not continue his agression, occupation and invasion of the remainder of the Ukraine, there will be no need for any further sanctions, including the existing sanctions in place (which currently only includes freezing the assets of several key Russian leaders).

In a nutshell, THAT is Jimmy Carter's snapshot view of Russia and The Ukraine.

The remainder of Letterman's and Carter's conversation centered around the United States, specifically the abuse and murder of WOMEN, the need to actively CONSERVE ENERGY and NATURAL RESOURCES and to ensure that CLEAN and SAFE drinking water is available to EVERY human being on the EARTH today.

In 1979, then President Jimmy Carter, had 36 solar panels installed on the Oval Office of the White House in an effort to conserve energy and bring awareness of the need to duplicate these efforts, first in our Nation, and then the World. Upon his subsequent loss in the Presidential Race to United State's President Ronald Reagan, these panels were removed by Reagan, in an effort to avoid the admission that the United States, primarily, and the World secondarily, has been and is the greatest contributor to the waste of Natural Resources, primarily Petroleum, and according to former President Jimmy Carter.

With regard to concentrated efforts to conserve energy and our earth's natural resources, Jimmy Carter believes that Global Warming is a legitimate threat and stated that former President George H.W. Bush was a "Champion of Saving Energy." Jimmy Carter has recently published a book entitled, "A Call for Action: Women, Religion, Violence and Power" (see http://www.amazon.com/Call-Action-Women-Religion-Violence/dp/1476773955/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1396366443&sr=8-1&keywords=a+call+for+action) which addresses, and provides solutions for issues like this, the abuse of women and a number of other current issues and injustices.

During tonight's interview, Jimmy Carter started with the most dramatic statistic he was aware of, with regard to the systematic and wide-spread abuse of females: 160 MILLION girls are missing, have been aborted, or are murdered shortly after their birth by parents who wanted a boy rather than a girl. Carter visits China every year to discuss this issue and others with the government of China in an effort to dramatically reduce this statistic as China has for decades enforced a policy of significantly limiting the birth of females by Chinese citizens. This policy has so significantly reduced the birth of females that there is currently a very large shortage of woman for men to marry, which according to Carter largely contributes to the sex and slave trade, since many men then choose to buy a bride because they are unable to find one on their own.

I learned something tonight that I was never made aware of before this interview between Jimmy Carter and David Letterman. Atlanta, Georgia is currently the primary center of the sex trade, due in large part to the fact that Atlanta is home to one of the World's largest airports. According to statistics Carter made his audience aware of tonight, an average pimp can make, on average, about $20,000 (USD) per prostitute that he "manages", while the purchase of a girl or woman on the black market ranges from around $1,000 (USD) to $8,000 (USD).

According to additional statistics that Jimmy Carter cited, Colleges, Universities and The United States Military are the primary culprit in the abuse of women within the United States. The reason Carter gave for this is because, according to Carter and his humanitarian foundation (see The Carter Center at: http://www.cartercenter.org/index.html), all these entities are "all about" protecting their own reputation and financial assets, rather than pursuing justice and vindication for all the women that are regularly raped and abused at Colleges and University campuses as well as at many of the United States' Military bases. Again, according to Carter, only 4% of rapes that occur every year at Colleges and Universities are ever reported, and only 1/6 of this statistic (i.e. 1/6 of 4%) with regard to the rapes and incidents of female abuse that occur within the United States Military are reported. Successful prosecution of these cases that are reported occurs much less than that. Prior to serving our country in the capacity of the President of the United States of America, Jimmy Carter served as a Naval Commanding Officer in the United States Military so knows first hand of not only the abuse he and his organization has been bringing awareness to for many years, but is a determined, dedicated and strong advocate for the victims of this abuse.

One of the most shocking statistics I heard former President Jimmy Carter disclose was this: 90% of all Egyptian girls have their genitals forcibly removed or cut before they are 4 years old for the sole purpose of preventing women from enjoying sexual intercourse. This statistic jumps another 5% to 95% in the country of Sudan.

The last topic that Jimmy Carter and David Letterman discussed was the direct result of stagnant, polluted and unsafe drinking water. It is called the Guinea Worm (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dracunculiasis), which grows up to 30 inches long inside a person's stomach when they consume water of this type. When Jimmy Carter and his foundation began their efforts in bringing awareness to, and actively combating this issue, there were 3 1/2 million known cases in at least 20 different countries. Today that number, primarily due to the efforts of Jimmy Carter and others who have listened to, and joined this cause, has been reduced to 146 cases in a handful of different countries.

To learn more details about these issues and other cases, causes and solutions for INJUSTICE be sure to visit www.Amazon.com and purchase Jimmy Carter's brand new book entitled, "A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence and Power." (see http://www.amazon.com/Call-Action-Women-Religion-Violence/dp/1476773955/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1396366443&sr=8-1&keywords=a+call+for+action)
Injustice will REMAIN INDEFINITELY. This is precisely the reason that Wal-Mart continues to struggle through a mryiad of problems and...INJUSTICE.

Take for instance the fact brought to the surface by the Occupy Movement/ through it's 99% vs. the 1% campaign...that the CEO of Wal-Mart (Michael Duke) makes more in ONE hour than the aveage Wal-Mart worker will make in an ENTIRE year...or $16,826.92 per hour, vs. $8.75 per hour (see http://abcnews.go.com/Business/walmart-ceo-pay-hour-workers-year/story?id=11067470). Liberty and Justice for ALL??? I think NOT. Give me LIBERTY or Give me DEATH? Perhaps.

Today, yet again, INJUSTICE "wagged it's ugly head" at a Wal-Mart located in Dallas, TX.(or more precisely, the store located at 3155 W. Wheatland Road, Dallas, TX 75237 which can be contacted at 972-709-1400). A customer who visited this particular store for the first time this morning, has been a loyal customer of Wal-Mart for several decades, but wished to remain anonymous, stated the following to Dance4ONE:

"At approximately 11:30 pm yesterday evening I made about a $15.00 purchase at the Wal-Mart located between Highway 67 and Interstate 20 on Wheatland. The only reason I was at this particular Wal-Mart was that in order to arrive at a new job assignment in Cedar Hill at 5:00 a.m. today I had to catch the D.A.R.T. Blue Line and Bus Route 466 prior to midnight the night before and then catch a taxi early the next morning (i.e. today) to travel the remaining distance to my final destination...in other words, I was merely killing some time during an otherwise uneventful...and sleepless evening/early morning.

At approximately 3:00 a.m. when I contacted the taxi service to request a taxi and get a precise amount of what the fare would be, I quickly realized I was going to be about $10 short on the fare, and needed to return about $10 worth of merchandise so that I could pay the cab driver and arrive to my new job assignment on time...which would be 5:00 a.m.

Thinking that a customer should, and would be handled as such...a CUSTOMER, I was shocked when I was told that any return and refund could ONLY be done during ANY Wal-Mart's established Customer Service Hours, which happened to be 7 am to 10 pm at this particular location. The Manager went on to reiterate, when bluntly asked, that 'Yes, even if a CUSTOMER made a purchase at 10:00 pm and promptly realized at 10:01 pm that he needed to return the merchandise he had just just purchased, he would HAVE to wait NINE HOURS...until 7 am the next morning to make the return and receive his or her refund.' When I explained my situation in more detail, and that if I was not able to pay the taxi driver and arrive on my first day to my brand new job assignment I would most likely be fired, the Customer Service Manager (I believe her name was Elizabeth) was not only extremely rude and blunt in her tone, attitude and body posture, but was cold and firm in her position that 'It was logistically IMPOSSIBLE to issue a refund outside of this established company-wide policy dictating the ONLY TIMES refunds could be issued, not only at this particular store, but at ANY Wal-Mart store across the country. When I finally was granted my request to speak to her boss and make the same, logical appeal to her, I was told exactly the same thing, except with more coldness, rudeness AND resolve NOT to serve the Customer...namely ME.

I ultimately got to my destination due to a kind-hearted and symathetic cab driver named 'Charles' with Yellow Cab who allowed me to short pay him for his service. When I returned to the same Wal-Mart store this morning around 7:48 am (due to a communication issue between the agency I work for and the foreman of the company I was sent to whereby my assignment has been delayed a day) to return the merchandise for my refund (so that I could pay the bus fare for the return to my home), I was told by Customer Service Representative, "Shun" the TRUTH that 'Yes, it was a corporate policy to only issue refunds during the specified and established Customer Service Hours, BUT that exeptions COULD be made, particularly when dealing with situations where a CUSTOMER would be significantly and negatively impacted if an exception to this policy was NOT made.'

Shun went on to say that were no logistical and/or equipment limitations (as both 'Elizabeth' and her boss adamantly stated) that would prevent this transaction from being made outside of the established Customer Service Hours, and that a MANUAL OVER-RIDE was not only possible, but very clearly should have been performed."

Today, an undentified source, a nurse who currently lives and works in Ghana, stated, "...and for the past four months i have not seen any salary...this makes things much worst for me..." When asked by Dance4One owner and blogger, Dan Getz, "Why are they not paying you?" the nurse replied, "...that is from the government...things are not good here as compare to that of your place or europe...things here are so different...".

When further questioned, "How do you pay your rent and other obligations??", the unidentified nurse currently employed by the Ghana Ministry of Health stated, "...well i have been having problems with so many things...just trying to keep all this by myself...i am currently having problems with the owner of my apartment and my bills as well..."

by Dan Getz, International Blogger
www.Dance4One.blogspot.com

My friend and colleague, Jessica Miller told me recently, "Write from your heart. Write about what you do every day", after listening to me complain about a particular part of my business not panning out like I thought it would. The last few days I have done exactly that, and there is a "flow" in my writing like I have never experienced before...at least not for a very, very long time.

It is now being reported that Kidd Kraddick died this past Saturday of a preventable and easily treatable heart disease, rather than the previously reported probable cause of death...a brain aneurism.

I am not here to past judgment or dwell on the fact that the "Kidd" should have done this or that. Anthony Hopkins, playing a part in a thriller called "The Bear" made this statement about the "should haves" and shames of life when a man that ultimately "died of shame" kept dwelling on his mistakes and making statements like "I should have done this...or that": (paraphrased) "People, in the wilderness ultimately die of shame. They start dwelling on their mistakes. They begin saying things like "I should have done this or that"...and ultimately they fail to do the ONE thing that could have saved them...THINK."

But Kidd Kraddick did NOT die in SHAME. Did he make a mistake in not getting this checked on sooner? Maybe. But the KIDD Lived his life in a way that was the polar opposite of shame. He, at some point in his life, chose to BE and LIVE and RETURN TO the "Heartbeat of America"...an era about 50 or 60 years ago where people actually cared for and looked out for eachother...a time when Presidents like JRK and Civil Rights Activists like Martin Luther King, Jr. Dared to go against the grain, LIVE and go the extra mile or two to aid their fellow man...or woman...even to the point of laying down their own life.

Won't you join me in celebrating the LIFE of people like JRK, Martin Luther King Jr., Kidd Kraddick and countless other RENOWN and UNKNOWN individuals and groups of individuals who have taught US to LIVE through their LIVING, and the laying down of their own lives for US? Do not let this simply be a fleeting moment decision or whim. As NIKE has stated over and over through a VERY effective ad campaign...JUST DO IT.

Life is Unpredictable with Ups and Downs; Full of daily choices that ultimately determine our journey and destiny. Such is the Life...and Death of Kidd Kraddick, only 53 years old. The "Kidd" died, LIVING...doing EXACTLY what he LOVED...Helping others and dealing "cards" of peace, love and friendship to others, including MANY children, that otherwise was not in many's dealt "deck of cards"...

Although final autopsy results have yet to be determined or take place, it is suspected that David "Kidd" Kraddick died suddenly of a brain aneurism Saturday, while playing at a golf charity event that benefited children with special medical needs.

David Kraddick had a knack for DOING and SAYING what he believed to be true, regardless of the naysayers and critics and learned to "hold his ground", not matter the intensity of the opposition. I think that is why I liked him so much as the same character trait and passion is evident in my own life, as evidenced by this "not so glamorous" article I posted on my blog a number of months ago, when I felt that Kidd Kraddick was not adequately promoting or getting sufficient playtime for my friend Tim Halprin (who advanced through several rounds to American Idol but was ultimately voted off the show): http://dance4one.blogspot.com/2011/11/dance4one-calls-kiss-1061-fms-kidd.html.

I still don't believe, for whatever reason, Tim Halprin was not adequately represented or had his songs played often enough in the Dallas area (Clear Channel Communications owns at least 6 radio stations in the DFW metroplex, including Q102 and KISS 106.1 FM). But that doesn't mean that I don't STILL hold the highest regard and respect attainable for Mr. David "Kidd" Kraddick.

Kidd, if you are listening...and I believe you are...please KNOW that your LIFE will be sorely missed. But also KNOW this: YOU inspired ME and countless others through your LIVING and choosing to IMPACT the LIVES of others who otherwise had little hope of anything more than assured death, or a life cut short by an incurable or inoperable medical condition. You gave US a reason for LIVING, no matter how long we have or had. You taught us to LIVE, even in the DYING. You taught us to find the bright side, no matter how dark or ugly the circumstances we were dealt, either by poor personal choices, or unexplainable or unpredictable fate. May you rest in peace, KNOWING that your legacy will live on forever, and continue to not only impact this generation, but the generations to come. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Yes, In light of the attached photos, why is it that DART has not made a greater effort to block access to, or place a more prohibitive boundry/fence to the ladders shown in these photos that provide easy access to ANYONE wishing to climb down those ladders, particular one such as Brogan Guyton who seems to have chosen to do exactly that on January 2, 2013?

Where, precisely did Brogan step in front of the train? Was it to the north of the platform, and barely around the first curve (to the slight northwest), which he could have only gained access to, after first (and easily) climbing down the ladder shown in these photos? A DART spokesman named Mark Ball, who apparently spoke to a Dallas Morning News Reporter stated, "The train had just pulled out of the station and was just picking up speed when it struck the man, he said.", which seems to coincide with the above "theory" of the precise location Brogan stood "behind a pole" and then jumped out in front of the train.

I'd also like to know of ANY press releases by DART concerning the incident yesterday that occurred around 6 am concerning the collision of either a DART bus or train (99% certain it was a train) and commuter vehicle in the vicinity of the West End. I spoke to an eye witness who stated she saw the collision but I could not locate any type of statement, story or press release from any news agencies, including DART.

This is one of at least 4 to 7 stories I carried on the Brogan Guyton incident. I have received 18,000 hits on my blog (now read in 124+ Nations) since running the original story. (http://www.dance4one.blogspot.com/2013/01/young-man-struck-by-dart-trainnow.html)

Thank you Mr. Morgan Lyons for responding to my inquiry. I plan on running a story on my theory within the next 24 hours and will be glad to offer you the opportunity to comment on it prior to publication.

Mr. Lyons, do you or DART Management seriously think the threat of a criminal trespass arrest is going to deter a suicidal person? It is my opinion, and I believe will be the opinion of the vast majority of the 38,000 individuals reading my blog in 124 nations, that a 6 to 8 ft high gate the width of that ladder would have at least deterred and possibly caused enough attention when Mr. Brogan Guyton stepped down from the platform to go around that obstacle.

It's hard to fathom, even when no injuries are reported, that the T-boning of a DART train car by a motorist that was reportedly drunk, is not news-worthy.

This morning I happened to hear a news reporter state the
following: “I once attended a funeral for a two year old. Sometimes in life there are certain things
that impact us forever. This was one of
those times.”

Such is the case of the suicide of my 20 year old friend,
Brogan Guyton, who was tragically killed at the beginning of this year by
throwing himself in front of one of the DART trains after contemplating it for
about 4 hours prior to his final decision.

I had seen what I know now to be signs of his impending
death about 3 weeks earlier when I spotted him in the West End very disheveled
and obviously distraught; a sharp contrast to the energetic and optimistic
young man I had casually met a month or so earlier.

When I learned of his death in the Dallas Morning News, I
swore to myself at that time that I would NEVER let that happen again…at least
not on MY “watch”.

So this morning when I met another young man while having
breakfast that is 18 and was visibly “upbeat” despite residing in a shelter and
having no job, though reasonably
discouraged, I quickly realized this was a second chance for me to make a
difference in a young man’s life.

What I have is nothing special. But I do know people that know people that
can mentor and help this man embrace his manhood and become a productive
contributor to society. So I am meeting
him (we’ll call him “Tommy”) again tomorrow morning over coffee and we'll go from
there.

I’d like to challenge you to do the same as I. You don’t have to look very hard to spot a
“Tommy” on the streets of Dallas, TX. Use discernment because all homeless people
are not as they say, and do not have the character and upbringing of
“Tommy”. However, there are many, many
“Tommy’s” who are the “real deal” and desperately need someone to stop and take
the time to give them a second
chance. Please try not to be blinded by
the stereotypes and prejudice that is all around us. As the “Great Gatsby” learned to do, choose
to, at times, to look through “rose colored glasses.” Perhaps you will be surprised, as I once was,
to see more clearly than you have ever seen before.

We MUST remember the WORDS and ACTIONS of Men like John F.. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. in order to LIVE and Dream AGAIN...The TIME is NOW to Shake ourselves from our slumber and AWAKE...If WE, as AMERICANS do not make a serious course correction, we are doomed to repeat the ugly parts of our past. However, if we will grab ahold of the TRUTH of OUR DESTINY and PURPOSE and the principles and integrity that OUR NATION was founded upon, we will not only save ourselves, but will LEAD the NATIONS towards the Bright FUTURE of TOMORROW...
Today at about 5:15 pm there were two Dallas Police Cars (Units 2924 and 2962) parked on the sidewalk in front of the McDonalds in the West End. Inside one of the DPD vehciles sat a dark complected African American man, estimated to be in his 30's or 40's.

When I introduced myself as a journalist/blogger interested in finding out the facts of what had just occurred to two different officers (with at least 2 other officers present and one officer being at the site of the incident at Lamar and Pacific and the other officer being across the street at Lamar and Elm) I was told that they could not comment on what had just occurred (and before I stepped off the Northbound Red Line at the West End Station).

In addition, when I asked at least 10 to 12 other individuals that were present at the scene, or within site of the scene, I received the following responses:

"I just got here, so I don't know." "Why are you asking me about this?" "I just mind my own business and didn't see anything." "I don't know. What happened?"

More details, as they (or IF they) become available, will be posted on this blog (www.Dance4One.blogspot.com).
