Several of Brogan's friends have posted comments on the Dance4One blog at www.Dance4One.blogspot.com. They read as follows:
"Brogan was a beautiful, much loved, young man who lost his mother 5 years ago. They were very close and he just never got over her death. Our church family misses her so much and grieves for this new loss for that family"
"I am a childhood friend of his- The above contributor is spot-on. He is very well loved!"
"I'll miss you Brogan"
"I played baseball with him growing up. His poor family. He just wasn't right when his mother died. Pray for Storm, Freddy, and Fred."
Another friend has contacted Dan Getz with Dance4One who has communicated through FACEBOOK that Brogan was a friend of her father and that she provided Brogan with a place to stay for a while in Atlanta, GA. She is in the process of arranging an online interview with Dance4One to be conducted next week.
The FACEBOOK page for Brogan Guyton previously found and reported by Dance4One has since been taken down by an unknown source.
Plans for a Memorial Service at the Salvation Army where Brogan resided for about 30 days within the last two months are still pending the approval of the Salvation Army, located on Harry Hines in Dallas, TX. In the meantime Getz has set up the following Memorial Page for Brogan Guyton on FACEBOOK: Brogan Guyton Memorial (1992-2013) (https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/140469342776314/)

The Brogan I knew was a beautiful young man who
was very much loved by his mother and the rest of his family. His mother died 5
years ago and Brogan’s world fell apart. Was sad, today, to hear through our
church that Brogan had died. Thank you for putting the pieces of his death
together for me.
I’ve posted on your page, just to let others
know that he was a special young man – not to be added to your post but more to
let you know that many others have prayed over him for a long time."
Sarah Mervosh (smervosh@dallasmorningnews.com) was the reporter for the Dallas Morning News who first included details of the incident (including the suicide victim's name as Brogan Guyton) that none of the other media had then reported. Her story can be read at:

More details are emerging concerning the incident that occurred at the DART Parkland/SW Medical Train Station two nights ago. The Dallas Morning News (Sarah Mervosh) reported the incident as follows:
DART train strikes, kills pedestrian in what officials call an apparent suicide
Update at 10:03 p.m. on Jan. 3, 2013
The medical examiner’s office has identified the man who was killed in the DART rail accident as 20-year-old Brogan Guyton.
Update at 9:30 p.m.
Witnesses say a man stood behind a pole at the DART station before walking out onto the tracks. He stood on the tracks as the train approached, Ball said.
The train had just pulled out of the station and was just picking up speed when it struck the man, he said.
The Southwestern Medical District/Parkland Station is closed until further notice. DART is using buses to take passengers to nearby train stations.
Original item at 8:58 p.m.:
A DART train struck and killed a pedestrian who officials believe was trying to commit suicide Wednesday night.
A southbound Green Line train pulled out of the Southwestern Medical District/Parkland Station around 7:50 p.m. and hit the pedestrian. A DART spokesman called it an apparent suicide, but said officials were still investigating.
“We’re trying to determine exactly what happened,” DART spokesman Mark Ball said.
Passengers should expect delays, according to DART’s website."
Dan Getz with Dance4One has independently confirmed several additional details. Brogan Guyton lived in Atlanta, GA prior to coming to the Salvation Army located across from the Parkland Health and Hospital System on Harry Hines Blvd. According to the website, http://www.bustedmugshots.com/georgia/atlanta/brogan-c-guyton/10234481, Guyton was formerly arrested in Atlanta, GA on June 1, 2011 for "Alcohol Sales TO PER LT" and "Interfer W Government Prop".
An unofficial spokesperson for the Salvation Army stated that Brogran had "multiple problems", was kicked out of the Salvation Army, accepted back and then asked to leave again within the last couple of months for what she described as "alcohol related issues".
Dallas Police Department Officer Yancy stated this morning at Parkland Health and Hospital System, "He could not comment on which side of the tracks the incident occurred." When questioned futher by asking, "Cannot remember, don't know or cannot comment?", he replied, "Cannot comment."
Several unidentified DART employees indicated they either were not aware the incident occurrred, or they only found out about the incident when they reported to work Thursday morning. Two DART employees, and an unidentified employee of the Salvation Army confirmed that they had been told that a crane was used to lift the DART train in order to fully remove the remains of Guyton's body.
Dan Getz with Dance4One spoke with the Official Parkland Health & Hospital System Spokesperson around 8:00 am this morning. She requested to remain un-named, but stated, on record, the following, "Because this incident did not occur on Parkland property we cannot comment on the details of the incident. Furthermore, due to Hospital Policy and Laws govenring Patient Privacy, we can neither confirm or deny that Brogan Guyton was admitted on Wednesday evening or whether or not he was a patient of Parkland at any time."
The following email was sent by Dan Getz to Sarah Mervosh with the Dallas Morning News earlier this morning. As of the release of this story, Ms. Mervosh has not replied, and permission has been granted by Mr. Getz to print this email.

As of the printing of this story, it has been independently confirmed by an unofficial spokesperson for the Salvation Army that the man proporting to be Guyton's father is not his biological or even adoptive father, and had "simply taken Brogan under his wings," while both were at the Salvation Army about 2 months ago.
Brogan's Facebook Page is at https://www.facebook.com/brogan.guyton.
Mr. Getz has proposed to un-named employee of the Salvation Army that a Memorial Service for Brogan Guton be held soon by The Salvation Army. I met Brogan briefly at the Salvation army a few months ago, and spoke to his "father" (I cannot confirm that the man who calls himself Brogan's father is really his father) only two days ago, specifically asking about the well-being of Brogan. I did not recall Brogan's name at the time, but re-called this man and Brogan spending quite a bit of time together at the Salvation Army on Harry Hines Blvd. The last time I saw Brogan was maybe two or three weeks ago, looking VERY distraught and disheveled in the West End. With his father's permission (if this is in fact his father) I would be willing to speak to the press. My understanding and knowledge of the situation is that the Salvation Army kicked him out a month or more ago.
This is a story I ran two days ago that the Dallas Morning News declined to run when given the same opportunity. It is about the Salvation Army. http://www.dance4one.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-hawka-haunting-truth-of-many-of.html
