According to eye-witness “Ms. New Orleans” and one of the Police Officers on the scene, a brown Taurus heading North on Good Latimar ran a stoplight at Good Latimar and Main at the precise moment Dallas Police Unit 0335 was heading East on Main and was attempting to continue through the intersection at Main and Good Latimar.

An identified woman was driving the Ford Tauraus with license plate BV9 H121 when she struck the right side of the Dallas Police Officer’s Squad Car.  Although an ambulance, fire truck and at least one additional police car were dispatched to the scene, neither the police officer or the presumed owner of the Taurus appeared to sustain any injuries requiring medical attention.

Ms. New Orleans stated that she works for the Blu Cloud Lounge at 2604 Main Street, which is located directly East of Tiger’s Tatoos  at 2602 Main Street and was sweeping the sidewalk when she witnessed the collision at approximately 2:25 pm this afternoon.

Around 5:30 p.m. a flatbed tow truck was seen heading East on Main Street transporting the Dallas Police Department’s Vehicle Number 0335, and was being followed by another Dallas Police Car with it’s lights on.
